Time to strap on your batwing chaps and check the crease on the old Montana-crown hat—on Friday, May 27 and Saturday, May 28 of Memorial Day weekend, the Torrey Cowboy Poetry and Music Festival (the Torrey West Fest, for short) will take place at Robber’s Roost Books & Beverages Outdoor Stage, with cowboy poetry, western music, and readings by the winners of the Wayne High School Cowboy Poetry Contest.
      Tickets are available in advance by clicking here, at Robber’s Roost in Torrey, and at the gate. General admission tickets are $25 per person per day, or $40 for a two-day pass. Wayne County residents pay $15 per person per day or $25 per person for a two-day pass.
